DirectLine Technologies, Inc. is committed to ensuring that every employee complies with ethical telephone solicitation practices on behalf of exempt and non-exempt clients, including adherence to all federal and state legislation governing telephilanthropy practices.
DirectLine Technologies, Inc. is committed to ensuring with reasonable certainty that:
- individual answers the phone, employees clearly state their name, the organization they are calling on behalf of, and follow the script word-for-word that has been provided to them.
- Telephone calls placed or received will be conducted in an honest and courteous manner, so as to respect both the constituent and the client. Harassment or excessive pressure will not be tolerated.
- During a call, all information conveyed will be truthful and all questions will be honestly answered. Employees will not knowingly misrepresent a nonprofit organization's mission, accomplishments, or plans for the future; nor knowingly create confusion between the nonprofit client's identity and that of any other nonprofit, governmental, or private organizations. Misrepresentation of how any funds raised will be used will not be tolerated.
- Information received during the course of calls will be used only for purposes for which it was provided and authorized.
- Employee calls will be monitored and recorded as DirectLine Technologies, Inc. deems fit to enforce telephilanthropy policies.
- Calls will be placed only during legally prescribed hours.
- Neither the public nor our clients will be intentionally misled.
- Consumer requests, during a call, to be placed on a client's "DO NOT CALL" list are implemented as soon as possible, typically within a few minutes, but always will be placed into effect within the required thirty days, and provided to the client in a timely manner.
- Automated requests to be placed on DirectLine's 'DO NOT CALL" list will be honored as soon as possible, typically at 3:00 AM Pacific Standard Time the following morning, but always within the prescribed 30-days.
- As a condition of employment, all employees will be required to sign individual commitments in which they agree to follow prescribed practices while working for DirectLine Technologies, Inc.
DirectLine Technologies' dialers transmit caller ID information as required by law. DirectLine's predictive dialing technology uses intelligent self-paced real-time monitoring to insure that fewer than 3% of calls are abandoned, and can deliver a prerecorded identification message when abandoning the call.
Privacy:
All lists and resulting demographic and giving data utilized or collected by DirectLine Technologies, Inc. remain the property of our clients (list owners) and will not be used for any purpose other than those specified by contract with our clients. All client data is protected by industry-standard firewalls, and we actively monitor for possible intrusion attempts.
Our web and FTP servers support the use of SSL in data transactions. Data servers are maintained in a secure machine room with keyless locks. All administrative offices are alarmed separately from our production areas, and computer password, security, and confidentiality policies and procedures mandated for all computer users.
DirectLine Technologies uses McAfee Secure, a division of McAfee to certify PCI compliance. We maintain a Certification of Compliance accepted by all credit card companies and all banks worldwide. McAfee PCI Compliance serves over 250,000 merchants worldwide and meets the requirements of Visa's CISP and AIS, MasterCard's SDP, American Express' DSS, DiscoverCard and JCB.
DirectLine Technologies Inc. adheres to the American Telemarketing Association Code of Ethics, TCPA Compliance Guidelines, PCI DSS data security requirements, and HIPAA Regulations. |
Data Protection:
All calling data is stored in a proprietary data format. The use of non-standard data storage formats protects data should an intruder gain access to the files despite intrusion prevention systems. In addition, credit card data is deleted after transmission to you.
PCI DSS Compliant:
DirectLine is certified PCI DSS compliant, as required by the Payment Card Industry for any vendor who collects credit card numbers for institutions with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card merchants accounts.
