What File Types Can I Send? DirectLine's FTP site only retains compressed files of the type ".zip", ".sit", ".tar", ".gzip", or ".7z". These file types are automatically deleted after 30 days. Other file types may be blocked by our firewall, or, if uploaded successfully, are automatically deleted as soon as they are detected. What is "SSL" ? Secure Sockets Layer is the leading security protocol on the Internet. Developed by Netscape, SSL is widely used to do two things: to validate the identity of a Web site and to create an encrypted connection for sending credit card and other personal data. DirectLine is certified PCI DSS compliant, as required by the Payment Card Industry for any vendor who collects credit card numbers for institutions with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card merchants accounts. Protect your institution's merchant account by using ONLY PCI-DSS certified vendors. |
